Communion Los Angeles

A film by Peter Bo Rappmund & Adam R. Levine

Story by Communion Los Angeles January 4th, 2014

COMMUNION LOS ANGELES is an experimental documentary that traces California’s oldest freeway as it courses from the San Gabriel Mountains to the Pacific Ocean, defining and dividing the communities it is designed to serve. By viewing the 35-miles of blacktop as both infrastructure and public architecture, the film highlights dichotomies of mobility, technology and urban space.
